Ellison Engineering Services (UK) Limited was incorporated in 1990 as a specialist company manufacturing containerised and packaged plant, the natural progression of some twenty eight years experience within the building services industry.
The company operates from a purpose built manufacturing facility at its headquarters in Morecambe, Lancashire. Development of Packaged products led to the company patenting a fully vented acoustic ridge section and cladding fixing systems, both of which enhance our products by ensuring heat build up is kept to a minimum and that the aesthetic appearance of our units is as neat as possible, yet at the same time being extremely robust.Our facility enables all aspects of containerised plantroom manufacture, including steel fabrication, class 1 pipe welding, cladding panel manufacture, pipework thermal insulation & electrical to take place in-house, ensuring our company has full control of each project from initial design through to escorting the delivery to site.
The company's reputation has been built on quality and attention to detail, combined with our ability to respond rapidly, which ensures our clients receive plantrooms built to the highest of engineering standards.
Continuing development (including the newest large scale 3D Solidworks full design capability) and re-investment within the company confirms our long term view that packaged plant will be the way forward in the future, offering better engineering solutions and ensuring projects are completed on time to higher standards than site fabrication.
In 2003 Ellison Engineering Services (UK) Ltd acquired the Milton Keynes based plant room manufacturer AC Engineering Services (UK) Ltd.
The AC Engineering manufacturing facility at Milton Keynes ceased production with Ellison Engineering’s purpose built manufacturing plant at Morecambe taking over the overall responsibility of the manufacturing role, the facility was increased in size by 60%.
To bring in the already well known name of AC Engineering along side Ellison, the companies manufacturing trade-name was re-branded as ‘EllisonAC Limited’ and to take in PlantPac
